Life moves so fast; one day it’s June, then before you feel like you’ve even done anything remotely summery, it’s the end of August. And sometimes, you just need to take a break. Buy yourself a bouquet and some wine and frolick in a field. Even if you get eaten alive by ungodly sized fire ants (which I did), it’s worth it just to take a break from the monotony that is your daily routine and grind. And honestly, as a creative and a business owner, this is one of the only ways to keep your mind and ideas fresh. Otherwise, the boredom of the every day affects your creative process. I know this first-hand.
NOW, about this Plum Pretty Sugar dress: the length is perfect for making me feel like a little woodland sprite, and the slits add a bit of sex-appeal to an otherwise pretty modest selection.
And, OH, that back detail. This is where having short hair really benefits me–I LOOOOVE back details!
Literally, stop and smell the flowers.
